Gimara - a small tower settlement of the XIV-XVII centuries

The Gimara tower complex is located on the right side of the Geshi-khi river at the foot of the Bastilam mountain opposite the Khachichu gorge on the southern slope of the Yucker Lam range, 30 km Northwest of the district center of Itum-Kali. The complex consisted of a military and several residential towers, which have partially survived to our time. The five-story combat tower appears to have had visual and signal communication with the battle towers from the Geshi (2 km) and Lower Kei (2.6 km) complexes on both sides.
