The State Budget Institution "Memorial Complex of Glory named after Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov" was opened on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 8, 2010.On the territory of the complex there is a park. The territory of the complex occupies 46,195 square meters. In front of the main entrance there is a monument to Commander of the 28th Cavalry Regiment, Hero of the Soviet Union Movladi Visaitov. On the left side of the complex square, there is a tank T-34 in honor of "Prometheus in a tank helmet" captain Matash Mazaev.On the right side there is a GAZ-AA car "Polutorka". The car is used in the celebrations dedicated to the Victory Day. The main building of the complex has the shape of a quadrilateral and consists of four levels. At the first level there is the museum of the First President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, and his office. There is a thematic exposition devoted to the life and work of Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov in different years of his life.The second level of the unique building is the picture gallery. It is here that pictures are showed at various exhibitions. On the vertical side of the building, from the outside, a retrospective of the battle scenes depicting the key episodes of the Great Patriotic War from the Brest Fortress to the Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow on June 24, 1945 is presented.There are also the bas-reliefs with the names of forty Chechen People, who became Heroes of the Soviet Union. The upper level of the building of the Memorial Complex of Glory is crowned with a dome. Above the central part of which there is a 40-meter stela stylized as a medieval battle tower. At the base of the stela, there is a star with "Eternal Flame" in memory of the participants of the war who defended the freedom and independence of our state. Memorial complex of Glory named after Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov is third in size, after the memorial complexes on Mamayev Hill in Volgograd and on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. In the days of celebrations, the territory of the complex can accommodate up to 15 thousand people.
